Okay, I guess it's not the best indication of a game's potential when the takeaway from the trailer is that the dad is kind of hot. That said, my time playing a demo of Kinect Star Wars at E3 2011 was a surprising amount of fun. The lightsaber was maybe a little loose controlwise, but using the force powers was actually kind of enjoyable. I'm not crazy to see that there's podracing in the game, because A) I didn't like it in the movie and B) racing games with Kinect controls are awkward. However, the idea of playing as a Rancor is kind of awesome. I guess we'll see when it comes out on April 3.
(And oh my God, how amazing is that limited edition R2D2 Xbox and Kinect? Do want!)
