Video: The Hunger Games Adventures
Oh dear.
Now, I haven't been to see the movie yet, because I don't want to deal with the ridiculous crowds that made The Hunger Games such a box office sensation. But I am definitely going to avoid The Hunger Games Adventures. I mean, really? You're going to take such a grim dystopian world where young people are forced to kill each other for televised sport and turn it into a social game on Facebook where little characters with big cartoony heads run around chatting with each other and hunt wildlife to score points? I mean, I get that fans of the books and movie will want to experience Panem for themselves, but such a light touch seems a bit... off.
Then again, I don't really go in for the Facebook social games myself in general, so maybe I'm missing out? Probably not.
