Wootini's Weekly Animal Crossing Diary

Dear Diary,

I'm so confused. I mean, stuff happened this week, but you know, nothing important. It seemed like something important was going to happen, but then it kind of didn't. At least, not yet!

But I got an awesome present, so that was fun!

My friend Rob sent me this awesome Wario hat in the mail. So off with the surgeon's mask and on with the hat! It's so cool that accessories would just ruin it!

I was surprised and a little sad when Del told me he was going to move away. He'd only just arrived, but he was pretty cool, so I'd like him to stick around. The newbies always seem to leave a few weeks after they arrive. It's annoying. And when I asked him to stay, he told me his mind was made up. So I guess that's the end of him. Oh well...

Or not.

Because later, when I would stop by his place, he still hadn't even started packing! He still mentioned that he wasn't long for Narnia and how we should make the most of the time we had left, but he never packed up his crap. And spoiler alert: by the end of the week? Del was still there. Maybe he's all talk...

I'm not sure what's with all the hide-and-go-seek lately, but the game has gotten surprisingly popular amongst the residents of our fair village. This time it was Gala who roped me into a game. And while she was the last one I found, I did eventually find her. I've only lost once, and the shame has made me determined never to lose again!

With Del supposedly on this way out, when Puck told me he was on the hunt for an MVP shirt, I immediately rushed over to Tom Nook to order one from my catalog. Gotta keep these people happy, or they'll just leave. Although I wasn't really expecting Puck to get this excited over a T-shirt...

I have terrible luck finishing my museum collection of paintings, because they're either ones I already have, or on the rare occasion it's one I've never seen before, it turns out to be a forgery. But while the painting was a repeat (so likely a forgery, I would think), I was pretty sure I didn't have this medicine chest. Not like I'm even going to put it into my house anywhere, but it's something I didn't have, and I had the bells to buy it, so it becomes mine. (Though I probably do already have it and just don't remember...)

I think I have a problem. I'm going to be featured on Hoarders: Animal Crossing.
