Squeenix Dates Heroes Of Ruin
I've been on the lookout for an RPG to play on my 3DS, and Square Enix's Heroes of Ruin has been on my radar. I'm hoping to get my hands on a demo of it this weekend at PAX East so I can get a feel for the game and see if it's up my alley before it comes out. And Square Enix has just announced that Heroes of Ruin will be in stores in North America on June 26.
I'm actually very curious to see how Heroes of Ruin plays because of its multiplayer aspect. The game has online play and social gaming features like real-time chat through the 3DS microphone. I appreciate seamless drop-in/drop-out multiplayer, but I want to make sure that the single player game is still worth it. (You know, because I mostly play 3DS on the subway to and from work where I can't actually go online for multiplayer!)

Damn I am so tempted to buy a 3ds it's getting so many games, thank god this game comes out after June 12 , it can't come soon enough , gravity rush can I have it NAOplskthxbai.....Must have just a little patience and restraint not too much longer, I will definitely get a 3ds soon though , if not just to play MGS in 3d , def when the unit is redesigned or super cheap or a really cool special edition that comes out that I can't live without . I would have so bought the MGS snakeskin one from Konami if the damn thing wasn't region locked. :(
If you're looking for a great RPG for 3DS, I'd recommend Tales of the Abyss. The Tales of series has always been one of my favorites, and with that game and Tales of Graces (on PS3) coming out recently, I'm in RPG heaven!
The only disappointing thing about this game is the (apparent) lack of gender selection.
I can live with armor sets, but not being able to be a male spellcaster is kind of crappy. It is also even worse for female gamers, considering 3/4 of the classes are male.
