Video: DmC Captivate Trailer (NSFW)
Despite being a fan of both Ninja Theory and Devil May Cry, I have largely stayed neutral on my opinion of the game thus far. This is because, for me, the game will be sold on how it presents Dante and how it controls, and the former was the only metric I had previously experienced in any form. After the first few trailers, I felt neither here nor there fully, so I was rather pleased to see this.
Dante is overly sexualized and in ridiculous ways. This may have been my issue with Kratos, whose burly physique just didn't do it for me (though I imagine he did for a number of people), and whose sexualization was so straightforward. This trailer? It gives me hope that Ninja Theory understands I want ridiculous, almost campy, Dante sex appeal.
Also, if he's available for sexual deviancy, I wouldn't mind helping him with that. Preferably without the baseball bat. Any man who can flip off some socially conservative talking head gets a few points in my book, though.

I don't know what it is, but I already like this Dante a lot more than the previous one (who I couldn't stand at all).
And could it be? Might Ninja Theory have the balls to make new Dante gay? Or at least bi.
I mean I haven't really kept up with this new version, so I don't know what else sexual deviancy could refer to.
Haven't play the series before. This looks like it might make for some great guilty pleasure gaming.
With barely anything (on) in the trailer, he already seems to have less melodrama than former Dantes. I'm in.
Earnestly held out $60 for a few minutes but no one took it. I never played the originals so I can't relate to the anger over the design change some have. And he has to at least be Heteroflexible at this point.

Must admit I was an old Dante fan... but after this I wouldn't mind an explosion blowing him into my bedroom...
Having played the other DMC's, I can say that I'm still excited for this remake. That and the new Dante is dead sexy.
Let's hope they don't make him gay or bi, cause this would result in those "I look at people and can tell their sexuality" (or if they are emo, or whatever) that approval they are waiting for...
Um, new Dante looks no diferent from any other action game hero out there.
Also, who the f cares what bigots think. Let's not make characters not gay because for the sake of homophobes.
Yeah, let's make em gay cause we need some more digital fetish...
