Get Ready To Yell Some Spells

The Harry Potter movie franchise may be over, but Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced that the games are still coming, with the announcement of Harry Potter for Kinect. That's right, one game will cover all eight films as you join Harry, Hermione and Ron at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
You'll cast spells by waving your arms and calling out their names as you relive the highlights of Harry's epic tale, and play competitively or co-operatively in mini-games. There's always mini-games! Interestingly, they're touting the ability to scan your own face onto a witch or wizard to make your playable character unique, but since you're either going to be behind your avatar or seeing through their eyes, it seems unlikely you'll see your own visage during actual gameplay...
It's a little sad to see yet another licensed mini-game collection on the Kinect, and I'm beginning to wonder if that's what we're going to be stuck with from now on. But I suppose there's still a chance that they could get it right and this might appeal to more than just little kids.

Because Star Wars Kinect wasn't bad enough...
maybe they'll learn from the mistakes of that debacle and make something worth playing, who knows?
So basically, all you have to do to win this game is constantly shout "expelliarmus!"
