Video: Wootini's Video Podcast #68

Shorter podcast this week as I don't have a major topic. Nope, just playing some new games. One is only natural, considering last week's topic, and the other came as a complete surprise to me. Then there's a minor complaint as well as a skeptical possible future purchase. Still not sold, yet. What am I talking about? Well, you'll just have to watch and find out — I'm not going to put the whole thing in text! It would defeat the purpose of making the dang videos!

Thanks Wootini!

Was glad to hear I wasn't the only one who hasn't been able to pull off combos in Xenoblade Chronicles. I find the one-on-one battles don't require them and the group and boss battles have so much "Monado warning" slowdown and busy-work on the screen that I've resorted to button mashing and over-leveling to get by.

I've been playing less frequently because I know I'm not doing it right, but the tutorials haven't helped. Started replaying Super Mario RPG on Virtual Console instead!

Random thought: After watching the season finale of "Smash" I feel backstage at a troubled musical would make a great setting for a Persona-3/4 style RPG. Anyone?

Yes Wootini, mobile games are awesome. Welcome to the club. ;-)

Am I the only one who has a difficult time playing RPGs on the Wii? I've been trying to get into Xenoblade Chronicles but I only manage to play it for 15-20 mins at a time before I put it down. The graphics just don't look great on my tv. Would it have been better to delay this game another year and prep it for release on the Wii U?
