Wootini's Weekly Animal Crossing Diary

Dear Diary,

Well, the last couple weeks were kind of quiet, so of course that wasn't going to last. Lots of activity this week, from all sides. For some reason, a couple of my neighbors became obsessed with visitors. Like this Jamazing person. I don't even know who that is, but apparently he swung by Narnia at some point. I haven't had a visitor in ages. Sometimes I feel like Narnia is like the only town in the universe, and outside the gates it's just a void of nothingness... Creepy...

Let's move on to some silliness!

So Bettina's replacement moved in early in the week, and her name is Deena. She seems nice enough, although she's kind of cross-eyed. It's weird. But I always enjoy the ducks. Not sure why. I just do.

Usually I like when Pascal visits at the end of the week so I can close out a diary entry with his patented weirdness, but he came early this time around, so here you go. Right in the middle of everything. But this one's not as funny as they usually are. This one's a head-scratcher. How is it changing before it settles on its final form? I don't have any idea what this wacko is talking about...

I still never seem to find any new paintings at Redd's (that aren't forgeries, of course), but this time around, I saw something I've never seen before: this wild raccoon figurine! It was so cool I had to have it. Not that I needed it, you understand. I just wanted it. And I had the 4,000 bells to burn, so why not?

In other home decorating news, Nintendo sent me a present this week — a Gracie dresser! It looks more like a vanity, because the lid pops open to reveal this mirror and the stuff inside, but whatever. The letter read: "The Gracie dresser is the ultimate inspiration to dress your best. No pressure, though. There's a lot to be said for personal style too!" I like the Gracie furniture, but all the furniture at Gracie's is so expensive! I can't justify it. Besides, I have my gold house now, and that might look pricey, but it was totally free! Score!

At least when Curly mentioned Rob, I knew who that was. Of course, Rob hasn't been by lately. We've exchanged letters recently, but he hasn't been by in person in... well, I can't even remember the last time he was by. But somehow Curly seems to think it was just a couple of days ago. Well, if he did, he snuck in and I had no idea! I'll have to have a word with security at the front gate...

I was surprised when Carmen told me she was thinking about leaving. I chat with her pretty often, and I don't ignore her usually. So I asked her not to go, and she made some noise about how she hasn't totally decided yet, but kind of has, so I'm not confident she'll still be around next week when I write to you. We'll just have to wait and see!

I swung by Poncho's house to see how he was doing and saw that he was sick, so I went running over to Nook's to pick up some medicine for him. I like Poncho, even if he's wearing that creepy skin shirt my bf designed... Now the trick is going to be remembering to stop by his place the next few days to keep giving him more medicine so he'll get better. Sometimes I forget, and then the following week, they mention they're feeling better and thank me for helping them and I feel a little bad that I only did it the once and then totally spaced. My blonde roots are showing!
