Buy Wasteland 2, Get The Original Wasteland Free

Despite having never played the original Wasteland - in my defense, my excitement over its original release was deadened on account of "being four years old" - I've long been curious about the title. Partly it's the notion of it being a "classic" game; mainly, it's to do with my early twenty-something infatuation with the first two Fallout titles, of which Wasteland served as a sort of spiritual predecessor.
Luckily, for those of us that are planning on purchasing Wasteland 2, inXile Entertainment, developers of the forthcoming title, have decided bundle the game with a copy of the original Wasteland, at no additional cost. Fargo & Co. shared some words in a press release (the whole of which can be found at Joystiq) regarding the new development.
The #1 request we had during our Kickstarter campaign was to have the ability to play the first game. Fortunately EA has continued to support us on this project and has granted us the ability to bring the original to the players," said Brian Fargo, of inXile Entertainment. "It is great to be able to make Wasteland available for those feeling nostalgic or who want to experience it for the first time. It certainly will not be a pre-requisite to understand Wasteland 2, but it adds some extra flavor if you did play the prequel.
So what do you think, gamers, gameresses, and nostalgia hounds the world over? Are you excited about the upcoming sequel to Wasteland? Does the inclusion of the original sweeten the deal? Sound off in the comments section below!

This was one of my favorite games, and I am thrilled to see it coming back!
The original Wasteland looks like a relic. I don't personally see the appeal in playing the original in 2012, but I do want its sequel to do well for itself all the same.
I think the original would do really well if they made it into an iPod or Droid app.
