I still enjoy Dance Central 2, and would have been perfectly satisfied with regular DLC releases to keep me dancing, but Harmonix has insisted on developing a third game in the series. And while some of the new features have me intrigued, I'm honestly most excited that the "story" of Dance Central 3 will have you time traveling, which means tons of awesome 70s and 80s tracks! The songs will span the decades, and they've just announced the following:
"I Am The Best (Original Version)" by 2NE1
"Better Off Alone" by Alice Deejay
"Everybody (Backstreet's Back)" by Backstreet Boys
"Supersonic" by J.J. Fad
"Get Low" by Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz ft. Ying Yang Twins
"Sexy And I Know It" by LMFAO
"Macarena (Bayside Boys Mix)" by Los Del Rio
"Moves Like Jagger" by Maroon 5 ft. Christina Aguilera
"Ice Ice Baby" by Vanilla Ice
"Turn The Beat Around" by Vicki Sue Robinson
"Y.M.C.A." by Village People
I hope the choreography for "Y.M.C.A." isn't as obvious as I fear it will be, and I could do without "Macarena," but the inclusion of Korean pop group 2NE1 has restored my hope that one day we may get some Girls' Generation up in this beast.
Oh, and aside from the new tracks Harmonix also announced a release date for Dance Central 3. The game will be in stores in the US, Canada, and Latin America on October 16, and in Europe, Asia and Australia on October! So lace up your dancin' shoes and get ready!
