Rock Band Blitz Is Coming!
Harmonix has finally revealed release information for its new title, Rock Band Blitz. The purely-controller based rhythm music game is coming to the PlayStation Network on August 28 for $14.99, and to Xbox LIVE Arcade on August 29 for 1200 Microsoft Points. The game will use your pre-existing library of songs purchased from the Rock Band Music Store or imported from Rock Band, Rock Band 2 and more. But Rock Band Blitz will also come with more than 20 songs of its own, all of which are playable in Rock Band 3 with your instruments as a full band!
Songs announced for Rock Band Blitz today include "So Far Away" by Avenged Sevenfold, "We Are Young" by Fun. ft. Janelle Monáe, "Jungle Boogie" by Kool & The Gang and "Sing" by My Chemical Romance. Combined with previously-announced songs "Pumped Up Kicks" by Fotster the People, "Raise Your Glass" by Pink and "Shout" by Tears For Fears, I almost feel like it would be worth picking up for the songs alone, like an expansion pack! But I guess I'll play the actual game, too!
