Wootini's Weekly Animal Crossing Diary
Dear Diary,
This week in Narnia, I think I may have dodged a bullet. Along with a whole mess of bugs. I mean, seriously! Summer just brings 'em out of the woodwork, don't it? Bad enough there are effing cicadas everywhere you go being all noisy and whatever, (you forget how loud those things are) but I saw my first scorpion of the season yesterday! Naturally, my first reaction was to run in the other direction, but then I marshalled my courage and whipped out my net to try and catch it. Unfortunately, when I went looking for it, I didn't see it, and I was getting so nervous that I started freaking out and decided discretion would be the better part of valor and went on my merry way. I probably would've been bitten anyway... I usually am.
Honestly, this was the only big news to come out of Narnia this week, but I was absolutely stunned when Teddy came sauntering up to me with his crazy huge eyebrows (I can relate, man!) and told me he was going to move. Stunned. Floored. You get the picture. I mean, for crying out loud, the bear only moved into town practically yesterday! I told him no, and he told me he'd already made his decision. Seriously? We're that awful that you can't even last a couple of weeks? Seriously?
So naturally, the very next day, I swung by his place to see if he had his stuff packed up, and he didn't. I thought maybe that would give me some more time to try and talk him into staying in town, but when I talked to him, he acted all normal, making the usual small talk about whatever crazy stuff popped into his mind instead of talking about moving. Like, no talking of moving at all. Weird.
And the day after that, he was wandering around, and came running up to me because he saw that I had a modern lamp in my pocket. (Is that a modern lamp in your pocket or are you just happy to see me? Both?) Anyway, he wanted to trade for it, and I happily agreed, hoping that it would put me on his good side and get him to change his mind about leaving. But I'm starting to think it wasn't even necessary. At this point, he's still around, his house is still unpacked, and talking to him just elicits the usual nonsense. So maybe he's decided to stay after all? Who knows. Watch come Monday, he's going to move out of absolutely nowhere and I'm going to be pissed. But right now, I'm hoping for the best. We'll just have to wait and see! Cliffhanger!

I can't believe how dedicated to this game you've been! It's amazing that it's been, what, 2 years now?
I wish I had that stamina, but I got bored with it because it was so much like Wild World. However, I hope to be playing the 3DS version 2 years out...it looks like they've added substantial new stuff to make it different.
I am also still loving this game to death. playing every day.
This is a game you can play forever...in a way..
