Video: Rayman Legends To Be A Wii U Exclusive

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Rayman Legends, and has announced that the game will be a Wii U exclusive when it releases in North America later this year (the video suggests "Christmas 2012").

The game will reportedly allow up to five players, with four in control of the characters on screen using Wiimotes, and the fifth using the tablet controller to control various actions on screen through a fairy named Murfy. The player with the tablet will be able to move and rotate platforms, eliminate obstacles, cut ropes, and (hopefully) mess with their friends. Oh, and they'll be able to tickle enemies - which looks like a unique way to incapacitate potentially brutal bad guys.

All this could add up to a great party game, and it looks like we won't have too long to wait to find out. When it comes to discovering how long Rayman Legends will be a Wii U exclusive...well, Ubisoft hasn't put a date on that one, yet. It will be interesting to see how the Murfy character's abilities are translated to other consoles.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
