What Do Injustice: Gods Among Us, Dead Space 3, And The Last Of Us Have In Common? Gamescom Trailers.
Gamescom has hit the ground running with a blitzkrieg of new announcements and trailers to . Get it? The convention is in Germany? Eh? Eeeeh?
Sorry.
Anyway, new trailers happened that you probably want to know about. First up is a character trailer for Catwoman in NetherRealm Studio's upcoming fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us. Selina Kyle shows off her acrobatic style which has her scratching and flipping her way around the stage in ways that make Batman and Superman jealous (and bleed).

Meanwhile, in outer space, Isaac Clark has discovered a a terrible, frozen planet that might hold the secret to preventing any more necromorph outbreaks. Naturally, that means necromorphs are literally hiding in every bloodstained nook and cranny he passes through. Pay careful attention in this trailer and you can see a few gruesome executions both for and from the unfortunate protagonist. (Divert your eyes, children.)
And finally, mostly because more than three trailers in a single post seems like disgusting overkill, we come to Naughty Dog's The Last of Us. This trailer does a fantastic job showing that even in a brutal, post-apocalyptic world of head bashes and shotguns to the temple, humanity survives. The mushy, smiles and laughter at the most dire of times kind of humanity, I mean. Thankfully, so do cassette players.
