New Songs & Old In This Week's Rock Band Music Store Update!
Okay, this week's regularly scheduled DLC for Rock Band constitutes a couple songs from Smash Mouth and one from The Offspring. From Smash Mouth, you've got their cover of "Why Can't We Be Friends" and the classic "Can't Get Enough Of You Baby" (If you didn't already get enough of it in the '90s — personally, I'll always love it for being in Can't Hardly Wait). And the other is "Days Go By" by The Offspring. All the tracks are $2 each, and have keyboard support. Only "Days Go By" has the optional $.99 Pro Guitar and Pro Bass Upgrades.
But the real big news for the Rock Band Music Store is that starting today, Harmonix is celebrating the launch of Rock Band Blitz and the coming-up five year anniversary of Rock Band by putting over 1,100 songs on sale for 50% off! This includes all three platforms, and a ton of bands and pretty much every genre. Seriously, the list is so expansive, I'm not even going to pretend that I'm going to list them here.
