Try RE6 Before You Buy
I bet a lot of you are just super-psyched for Resident Evil 6 to release on October 2. But for those of you who might still be on the fence, Capcom is releasing a playable demo of the game on September 18 on Xbox LIVE and in the PlayStation Store. This demo is completely different from the one included as a bonus to anyone who bought Dragon's Dogma on the Xbox 360. You'll be able to check out content from RE6's three main campaigns, either solo or in online co-op.
You'll play as either Leon S. Kennedy or Helena Harper and explore the dark and infested corridors of Ivy University. Or as Jake or Shery, fighting off the J'avo in Lanshiang. Or as Chris Redfield and Piers Nivans battling J'avo forces in Edonia before facing off against a 3-story high B.O.W. Ogroman. You can experience each campaign while trying each character to weigh their pros and cons.
Since that demo of RE6 was only available to owners of Dragon's Dogma on the Xbox 360, Capcom has also made that demo available to PS3 owners of the game via token redemption in the PlayStation Store.
So check out the demo and see if you're going to pick up Resident Evil 6 when it releases October 2. Or, I suppose, if you're just a super-fan who was going to buy it anyway, you could still play the demo because you just can't wait until then for a taste of the action!

I'm so glad I chose not to wait 2+ hours in line at PAX Prime to play the demo for this game.
Wait, is this info correct? That sounds exactly like the demo I played from the Dragon's Dogma download, except that Chris/Piers and Jake/Sherry are reversed. So is it that same demo or is it something different?
Well, Capcom's press release says that it's different. Maybe the characters are in new locations doing new things? I didn't actually play the demo that came with my Dragon's Dogma, so I can't say for sure!
Strange, because it sounds the same, and Gamespot says it's the same one, here:

But then other sites are saying it's different. Very confusing! For the record, I really liked the first demo except the screen tearing which was out of control.
I can't wait to play this demo! Finally a taste of RE with Leon... It's weird how he became so popular? I played 2 before 1 so I grew up with his and Ada's relationship.
