Make Your Own Paper Mario... And Win!

To promote the upcoming 3DS game Paper Mario: Sticker Star, Nintendo has launched a contest that asks fans to recreate the 2D paper diorama visuals of the Paper Mario universe with an actual 3D diorama!

"Imagination and creativity are part of Nintendo's DNA," said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America's executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. "Giving fans a chance to unleash their own creative talents is a terrific way to set the stage for the Nov. 11 launch of Paper Mario: Sticker Star, an experience that's only available on Nintendo 3DS."

You can submit photos or videos of your work at the Paper Mario Facebook page from now through November 7. And to get you started on your way, iam8bit has created an instructional video full of crafting tips and hints at the same link. The contest is open to U.S. residents 13 years old and up. Entries will be judged on three criteria: Spirit (how well the entry demonstrates a love for the Paper Mario franchise), Creativity and Quality. Full contest rules and eligibility requirements can be found at the Facebook page as well.

There are five prize packages that include a Nintendo 3DS XL system, a copy of Paper Mario: Sticker Star, an eShop gift certificate and a handmade papercraft trophy. Good luck!
