As I've probably mentioned, I don't particularly care about football - at least, that's the short version. The long version is that your humble and obedient servant's apathy toward football is so vast, and so all-consumingly intense, that it delves into the realm of "negative caring" (shut up David Mitchell, it is too a concept), reducing the capacity for f*ck-giving of all football fans withing a two hundred-foot radius - leading to a domino effect that will find the sport wholly forgotten by the year 2035.
That being said, I have a strange affinity for marching bands, and as one might expect, a noted fondness for video games; and when the twain meet - two star-crossed souls canoodling beneath the majesty of the night sky - it's most lovely indeed.
Such is the case of Ohio State, whose marching band paid homage to the world of video games during a recent halftime show. Featuring selections from Halo, Zelda, and others, as well as some rather impressive choreography (s*ck it, North Korea), your humble and obedient servant can color himself impressed at the effort of the kids over at Ohio state marching band. So enjoy nine or so minutes of nostalgia with the above video!
