Finally A SingStore Update!
Okay, technically this SingStore update happened last week, but we were down, and I didn't want anyone to be out of the loop with what's new in karaoke videogame land! The 10/29 update included:
"Finally" by CeCe Peniston
"What's Going On?" by Marvin Gaye
"Bless The Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts
"I Put A Spell On You" by Screamin' Jay Hawkins
I appreciate "I Put A Spell On You," and releasing it at Halloween is cute, but I know that I'd never be able to sing that one. Not with the super-picky SingStar scoring. Hell, I downloaded "What's Going On?" and sucked hardcore. It was embarassing. Luckily, CeCe Peniston was a lot easier, so that made me feel better!
Also, over in the UK, SingStar is now available to play directly from your XMB. If you want to sing anything on a disc, you'll have to put the disc in, but it's nice to know that if you just want to sing DLC, you don't have to worry about swapping discs. It seems like it's headed to the US, but I'm not sure when yet. Now, if we could just get some more Girls Aloud, Kylie Minogue or even Skunk Anansie up in this joint...

My SingStar collection always needs new additions, but they update the thing so infrequently I never know when they do!
