Video: Grand Theft Auto V (Five)
This looks like the trailer to a fun summer action movie, but in fact, it's the newest trailer for Rockstar's upcoming Grand Theft Auto V. (I love that they have "five" written out on a little banner around the "V" in the fear that much of their audience won't understand roman numerals)
The problem with this trailer for me is that it doesn't seem much different from any of the other ones, and I know that it has to be. Also, setting it in their fictionalized LA is less interesting to me as an actual New Yorker. I won't recognize any of their landmarks. The idea of switching between three separate protagonists is an interesting one, but after the way the ending of L.A. Noire was derailed when they temporarily focused on another character for a couple missions, I'm wary.
Still, it's GTA, so it's going to sell a bajillion copies anyway. I don't even know why they bother with the trailers at this point. It seems like a waste of effort. Though I do like a good Stevie Wonder jam!

It's funny... as a native Californian, I find the Liberty City location totally uninteresting and couldn't get into IV at all but am sorta interested in this one.
