Video: Wootini's Video Podcast #95
Slightly longer than usual vidcast this week, but there's a good reason. Between attending the launch event for the Wii U at the Nintendo World Store (enjoy the nightmares when you see the giant-sized Miis!) and picking up one for myself (at Toys R Us of all places — long story), I had a lot to cover! And I still didn't cover everything, since these are just my first impressions of Nintendo's new console! There's more to come!

It does do the background downloading for everything, I even tricked it into doing that for the system update. If you are looking for a good launch game though, Scribblenauts is the answer.
Really? When it was downloading the update for Nintendo Land, I saw you could still launch the software. But when it was doing the system update, I didn't see anything of the sort. And while checking online to see how long it was taking everyone else, I saw that people were bricking their systems by turning it off when they got frustrated. So I didn't want to do anything but let it do what it had to do! :-)
