Wootini's Weekly Animal Crossing Diary
Dear Diary,
Well, sadly, we lost another one this week. And I'm not talking about our special guest, either. No, he's fine. I made sure of it.
So Margie lost her key, and since I had a little time to kill, I thought I'd take a look for it. Amazingly, it was literally the first shadow I fished out of the river, so it took no time at all! And even better, when I gave her back her key, as a thank you, she gave me her Kapp'n model. You remember, the Kapp'n model she bought off of me last week for a bunch of bells? Woo hoo! Free money!
Oh honey, you should probably be moisturizing more than once a week. I mean, have you seen the bags under your eyes? I don't mean to be rude, but... yeah. Fix that.
Well, after so long, I'd assumed Merry had changed her mind. Guess not. And what an annoyingly cheerful good-bye note. It's like she doesn't care at all. Guess she's not going to miss me, so I'm going to make sure I don't miss her, either. So there!
This week was also Thanksgiving... er, I'm sorry, the Harvest Festival. Either way, it's time to eat yourself into a food coma and try not to regret it. Of course, there's something really important missing from this particular dinner table...
Yeah, Franklin was hiding around town. And even though he read me the letter that the mayor sent him, and said he wasn't fooled, he still came. I don't get that. Every year, it's the same. He gets the letter inviting him to dinner, clearly realizes that he's going to be the dinner, and yet he still comes. It's like he wants to be eaten. Turkey is quite delicious... Oh well, maybe next year. I gave him a set of silverware, but just the one. I'm pretty sure I already have the Harvest set of furniture, so it's not really worth the effort. And if they eat him this year because I didn't collect all the silverware? Oh well. No skin off my teeth!
Still no replacement villager for Merry, but towards the end of the week, Nook closed down and reopened as Nook'n'Go. So the selection sucks, but the hours are great. And when he eventually acts all unsure about this configuration, I'll tell him something different. Just to mess with him. It's fun! (Except for when your pockets are full and he's closed so you can't sell it all off!)

Are you playing this on your Wii U now?
Yeah. And it's a good thing, too, because my Wii was from the original launch, and was getting a little bit noisy every time I fired it up. Occasionally, AC would freeze up and crash, so it's much nicer playing it on the Wii U without having to worry about it!
Nice! Oh, if you like, my Nintendo network name is the same as my posting name on here. I don't know anyone else with a Wii U yet so I feel like a sad loser with no one on my friend list, haha.
