Happy Birthday, Mega Man!
Happy birthday to Mega Man, who is 25 years young today!
To celebrate the Blue Bomber's quarter of a century in videogames, Capcom is planning an entire year of activities, starting with the free Street Fighter X Mega Man game available now. Unfortunately, it's only a PC download, but you can click here and get it if you've got one. The game features eight Street Fighter-themed levels and bosses inspired by the fighting game classic.
Throughout the year, Capcom plans to release the classics Mega Man through Mega Man 6 as downloads for the Nintendo 3DS. They'll start with the original Mega Man on December 27 and release the other 8-bit classics throughout 2013.
I'm sure there's more coming, but right now that's all they've announced officially. I'll keep you updated as I hear more!
