It's a long one this time, folks, but that's because it's the 100th episode spectacular! As a special holiday treat, I celebrate the anniversary by answering all of your questions! (Well, at least the ones some of you sent in!)

So happy holidays, and I'll see you after Christmas! Thanks for watching!

Merry Christmas Wootini! Congrats on the 100th video.

My opinion on the next genre frontier for gay content: licensed games. I'm hoping one day, for example, someone like Batwoman or the Young Avengers will be big enough to be the main or an important character in a game. I know it's a long road so since so many important geek icons don't have their own games.

However, it's one thing for characters like Mass Effect's Commander Shepard, who's a blank slate, to be able to be gay. I think it's another thing entirely for a character that is already established to be gay to be an important figure in a game.

Gay people are already used to straight people's stories in games. I don't need Superman to have a gay option. He's Superman! He's always going to be in love with Lois Lane. That's how I know him; that's what I want to see in his story when I see him in a game. So the day when straight gamers are seeing gay stories in games and not batting an eye - that, to me, is a sign of progress. Right now, I feel like a lot of homophobes would complain about "Gay content being forced on us". But all of us live our lives with "straight content" being "forced" on us.

Basically, I'm just hoping that gay characters are important enough to carry their own/be heavily featured in games, as straight characters from comics and movies have always done, and fans to be open to their presence.

Great podcast. Thanks to the person whose question mentioned my game "My Ex-Boyfriend the Space Tyrant"!

I disagree that there will never be a mainstream game that is 100% gay.

I think if there was a compelling story presented professionally enough then non-gay players would play it ... after all, people have happily taken on the roles of things as diverse as blue hedgehogs, blobs, softdrink cans and even meat boys. So it's weird to say people can't suspend their own identity in a gay game.

It just has to be done right and one day I will lol! My Ex-Boyfriend is a start.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
