At last! At long last, I finally got a day off! Woo hoo!
Although in sad news, we had an unexpected departure.
I was absolutely stunned to receive a good-bye note from Gwen. I swear I just spoke to her recently, and there wasn't even a hint that she was thinking of moving away. Stunned.
Although I have to wonder if she was secretly pissed at me for taking the skin shirt out of the Able Sisters' shop so she couldn't convince other residents to wear it and creep me out. That might have have been the last straw for her and she skipped town in a bitch snit. Just speculating...
I knew that Pascal would repeat himself sooner or later. I just didn't think he'd repeat himself so quickly that I would totally remember the last time he spouted that particular nugget of nonsense. I'm sure he's repeated himself in the past, but it's been so long in between the same comment that my aging brain doesn't retain it. So basically: Pascal, I'm disappointed.
Okay, clearly Margie doesn't know me that well. I've never even pretended to be a fashion plate. This came about because she asked me how many outfits I had. I horde furniture, not outfits, so I said only a few. And she was amazed, because I guess she thinks I'm some kind of style icon. Shyeah, right! Have you met me? I've been wearing this shirt for months!
After what feels like months of complaining that it hasn't rained so I could take a day off watering my flowers, I was thrilled when it finally snowed. As soon as December started, I knew the snow was imminent. I just didn't think they'd make me wait all week! But the white stuff finally did start falling from the sky above. It's not sticking yet, but that doesn't matter. It'll turn Narnia into a winter wonderland in due time!
