Wootini’s Weekly Animal Crossing Diary

RUU_1783   Dear Diary,

Well, we did lose a resident from Narnia this week, but OH MY GOD WE GOT THE BEST REPLACEMENT EVER!

Octavian wanted a Seismo Tail, which I was like, “Yeah, sure, I’ll keep an eye out” but inside I’m going “Please. I can’t be bothered to dig up fossils in the first place — you think I’m going to keep going until I find a specific one?” But bizarrely enough, I dug up a couple fossils, and lo and behold, one was actually a Seismo Tail! So I happily handed it over to keep Octavian on my good side. (Luckily, when Pekoe wanted a fossil later that day, she wasn’t nearly as specific, so I just gave her the other one. I don’t even remember what it was!)

Guess I wasn’t able to convince Boone to stick around. Hey, I tried. But he did say that he wasn’t sure he’d be able to get out of it. I guess the Mob really did have him in its grasp. I hope he’s happy. And I hope we get a better replacement… who will also stick around longer than a week or two!

Wait, what?

Margie asked me to deliver a present for her (you know, you can’t expect celebrities to do their own dirty work), so I tracked down Gloria and handed over the package. Unfortunately, Gloria was mildly underwhelmed by the Chinese shirt (I think Gloria is hard to please… just my impression), but at least Margie didn’t seem too bothered when I told her it had only gone over okay. She didn’t seem particularly surprised that Gloria was hard-to-please. But hey, Gloria didn’t just put the shirt away with the intention of regifting it later… she still put it on. That has to count for something, right?

Oh. My. God.

Snake moved right into the plot of land where Boone had, practically next door to my own house. When I saw him outside his house, I immediately fell in love. HE’S A PINK BUNNY WEARING A NINJA HOOD NAMED SNAKE. SNAKE! How could he NOT be the most awesome person in the entire Animal Crossing universe? He’s my new BFF, even if he doesn’t know it yet.

Oh, but don’t tell Simon…

(Writer) I love Animal Crossing, music games (even though I can’t sing or play instruments) and adventure games. And the occasional 40+ hr JRPG when I can find the time! I live in Brooklyn, NY with my husband, Frank.
