An Italian eBayer by the name of videogames.museum says he’s spent most of his life collecting video games and related paraphernalia, and has amassed an enormous collection. He claims to own almost 7000 games, over 300 consoles, and hundreds of controllers and other accessories – including every Mario, Zelda, Kirby, Castlevania, Metal Gear, and Final Fantasy game, and some pretty rare pieces to boot (like the pearl white limited edition Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles GameCube).  The collection goes from the pre-Vectrex era all the way up to the present.

But videogames.museum has decided his collection has to go.  Why?  There’s no room for it any more, and he realized that he would have to live his entire life a few times over to play his whole collection.  So  he’s selling it all on eBay for a minimum bid of $550 000 US.  That might be out of most collectors’ price range, but it already has one bid.

To view the entire collection, click here…and don’t forget your drool bib.  And there’s already one bid on it, so hurry up if you’ve got over half a million earmarked for your video game collection.
