Tales of Xillia is headed to the PlayStation 3 exclusively on August 6, and Namco Bandai has announced that there will also be a collector’s edition. You’ll get an art book and soundtrack as well as a special Milla Maxwell character figurine. Naturally, the statue is of the female lead, not Jude, the male lead. (He’s the one getting his face sucked in the screenshot above… I have no idea what’s going on there, but I thought it would grab people’s attention!)

The Collector’s Edition of Tales of Xillia will be $99.99 instead of the $59.99 cost of the game by itself. But on the plus side, this time the collector’s edition will be available at various participating retailers, not just Namco Bandai themselves online, so you don’t have to worry about getting screwed around like what happened with Ni No Kuni. Also, the art style of this game is beyond gorgeous, so I would actually be intrigued to check out the art book for a change!
