This week in Narnia was kind of a disaster. Oh sure, lots of fun stuff happened, but I also went on a quest that ended in disaster that could possibly ruin a friendship. Let me explain…
Oh, Simon… you’re so adorable! (Although I do wonder what he means by “adventure!”)
Whitney was a little bitchy when I stopped in to welcome her to Narnia, but I consider that a good sign. I like folks with a little bit of edge. Be snobby or grouchy and we’ll get along just fine. Wacky is my favorite, though. Just don’t be sweet or cute. Gives me cavities.
I was in the Able Sisters and saw that they had the bear shirt, so I decided to throw it on and complete the teddy bear look. I feel like I blend in with my neighbors a little better!
Simon told me he liked my style (even though I’ve been wearing that New Year’s shirt since… well, New Year’s), and wanted me to pick him out a new outfit. But everything I tried wasn’t “fresh” enough for him. He’s wearing a lotus shirt with pastel flowers on it! What the hell is “fresh?” (On the plus side, Axel took the MVP shirt that Simon turned down, so it wasn’t a complete waste of money.)
Probably not, Mom. This doesn’t even rhyme!
Words to live by, dude. Words to live by.
I tried again with a floral print that I’d ordered special from Nook’s since he seemed enamored of flowers, but he didn’t like that one, either. Seriously? Then the next day, I bought a couple more shirts from the Able Sisters, and he saw me walking around and wanted to trade his pastel dot rug for the No. 23 shirt I had on me. Of course, that didn’t satiate his desire for a shirt because he’d taken it himself. So was that “fresh?” I’ll never know. He didn’t give me a chance to try and offer it to him… greedy bastard.
And lo and behold, the next day, it was too late and he’d changed his mind like the fickle little monkey he is. And there’s that damn No. 23 shirt hanging on a stand in the corner of his house. He didn’t even wear it! Aargh!
But I still love you, Simon. Kisses!
