Star Trek has always been about a world where diversity has been accepted as a basic fact of life, and Star Trek Online, the free-to-play MMO, is going to be celebrating Pride Weekend on June 29th and 30th! The Stonewall Fleet is hosting the Fourth Annual Pride Weekend for the entire STO community (just join the public in-game channel STOPride) including the usual adventure missions, but also a drag pageant and pride parade! Click here for the full schedule of both days’ activities. And click here to read a lovely essay by The Stonewall Fleet’s Admiral regarding all the diversity in the Star Trek universe!

I stopped playing STO a few months ago, because I didn’t have the time to play it. Reading about this happening and that essay is making me think of picking this up again.
