For the grand finale of my New York Comic Con 2014 cosplay photos (I told you there were a lot!), I’ve saved the videogame ones. Here you’ll find a super cute Fox McCloud, a pair of super gay Ice Climbers, a fabulous Yuna, a slightly creepy Wii Fit Trainer, and the most adorable PaRappa!

Oh, and you might also spot me in there, too, as I dressed up for Saturday when I worked the booth for Geeks OUT! ;-)

Here are the rest of the “other” photos, including all the anime, cartoons, movies, TV shows and the plain weird like the boy walking around in bikini briefs with a basket of buns looking for an anaconda (get it?). The crossplay Sailor Moon gang you see above was seriously impressive. I was also delighted to see such random cosplay as the League of their Own player and one of the Guilty Remnant!

The third gallery of cosplay photos from New York Comic Con 2014 is the first part of the “other” category. These are the costumes based on anything that’s not comics or videogames. So movies, TV, anime, cartoons, and miscellaneous. This time around there’s an extremely hot character from the anime Free!, a Slave Leia facing off against a Xenomorph, a bunch of guys literally just walking around in their underwear (seriously, they weren’t even trying to pretend it was a costume!) and… um, McThor? I guess? I’m not even sure, but it was really clever and super well-done. Check out the gallery and see!

Here is the second of the five cosplay galleries from New York Comic Con 2014. This is the other half of the comic-book costumes I snapped. My favorites in this batch are the Age Of X X-Men group leading off this post above, classic Green Arrow, a sweet Jubilee, an Iceman who must have caught a chill, and the most amazeballs Tintin I’ve ever seen. Seriously, he was perfect. Check the gallery after the jump and see if you agree. Perfect!

Now it’s time for everyone’s favorite part of New York Comic Con… the cosplay!

I took a metric crapton of photos this year, and I’ve split it up into five galleries with about 30-40 pictures in each. I figured since it’s Comic Con, I should probably start off with some comic book cosplay. Mind you, this includes movie versions of comic book characters, too. You’ll find them all after the jump!

Highlights this round are a fabulous disco-era Dazzler, a hot Wonder Man crossplay, a mostly-naked Namor, a ridiculously hot Spider-Man, and an adorable Jughead. Who are your favorites?

Over the past weeks, Toronto has been home to World Pride – the first time it’s been held in North America – hosting art and music festivals, human rights conferences, marches, parties, and drawing an audience of millions from across the globe.  Toronto Gaymers (a group that has gown to hundreds of members since we first featured them) have been busy throughout, presenting a panel on diverse voices in gaming, mixers, card game, board game, and fighting game events, and (of course) cosplay.  In outfits designed to weather the withering heat (and the barrage of water guns along the route), and amid a torrent of 12 000 marchers and activists from more than 50 nations that stretched on for hours during World Pride 2014′s culminating Pride Parade, the Toronto Gaymers got the crowd cheering.  Check out a gallery of their best after the jump.
