Happy Holidays from World of Warcraft

The jolly people at Blizzard Entertaiment have brought together the best of Azeroth in search of talented voices to perform the World of Warcraft’s “Twas the Night Before Wintervale”. You’ll hear a lovely holiday tune sung by murlocks while the elves cast spells on themselves to plug their ears.

Listen for a guest appearance by the Infernal and the boys at the tech department. Leave it to a bunch of elves, orcs and dwarves to show the true meaning of the holidays—ale!

Twilight Princess Glitch Revealed

The guys over at Dustinsoftware.com have discovered a glitch in the Nintendo Wii version of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess that could prevent you from finishing the game. They created the above video of the glitch at work.

They discovered that after the player saves in the room with the big cannon that Link is unable to warp the cannon out of the room because the game claims a man is watching you still, but if you look around no one is there. If you try to leave the room, the man appears at the door and won’t let you leave. You’re stuck. You can’t leave and you can’t progress the storyline.

So for those playing Twilight Princess right now, don’t save in the cannon room.

Sexy Fisherman Fashions from Okami

Early this week, Kotaku.com reported on the sexy booty-showing fashion worn by the goddess Sakuya in Okami and well, apparently she’s not the only one in the Nippon that likes to feel the breeze in her special parts.

While playing Okami today, I came across a weird little fisherman along Ryoshima Coast who was wearing nothing more than a sea shell over his winky. That’s a big shell… maybe its not true what they say about Asian guys.

Apparently the people of ancient Japan aren’t afraid to try some daring fashion statements. With the goddess showing off her booty, the enemies showing off their baboon booties and now the fisherman with the shell thong, I’m half expecting to see Queen Himiko in Sei-an City wearing a dominatrix outfit or something.

Tell Me Your Dirty Fantasies

Sugarjoy.com is a site that posts daily articles on sex in video games and currently they are running a web survey on how video games affect gamer’s sex lives.

Well, actually “they” is me, because I’m the only one writing for the site, but hey I still wanna know.

I want to know all your dirty video game fantasies. I want to know whether or not you’ve used your controller’s vibration abilities for more than scaring the heck out of your cat. Tell me about that sex dream with all the guys from Dead or Alive. Tell me everything!

After 2 weeks I intend to write an article telling the results of the survey. Should be interesting.

Fill out the survey today

Note: Not safe for work!

Remember These: Super Power Club Cards

True hardcore retro gamers tend to collect old games, systems, and anything else game related. I myself tend not to collect a lot of these things, but I do have one collection for which as a gamer I am proud of and that is my Nintendo Power Card collection.

Back in October 1992, Nintendo Power launched a new feature called the Super Power Club in issue 41 which gave readers these cards which you could punch out and collect. Each card contained information on a NES, Gameboy or Super Nintendo game and a challenge for the player to complete for the game. The challenge gave three levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Pro. To add to the point of actually collecting and trading these cards with friends, each issue would include a three card set that if the reader owned, then they could send the set in and win a free game. You could even send away for the complete set of cards for $5.00 but they were marked so you couldn’t use them in the contest.

Bridget Gets His Groove On

Just happened to be checking this video out, because I wanted to see the Storm Trooper dance, but as I got watching it I saw that our favorite little cross dressing bounty hunter from the Guilty Gear Series was getting his groove on too. Sweet!

Game Reviews That Get Straight To The Point

Wouldn’t it be easier to read game reviews if they were only one sentence long? You could cut through all the fluff and get the stuff you really want to know.

Well Dennis “Corin Tucker’s Stalker” Farrell from Somethingawful.com likes to post one sentence reviews at the bottom of almost all his posts. Here’s some of his latest:

Darkstar One – PC
All the thrill of running trade routes between lifeless space stations of Eve Online without other players and the advanced economy, which means it’s actually sorta fun. 7/10

Ninety Nine Nights – Xbox 360
If overcoming one billion enemies with two attacks sounds like your idea of a good time, your name is probably John Cena and I probably just made a joke that half of our readers won’t get. 7/10

Marching To Their Own 8-Bit Tune

Famous Maroon Marching Band plays video game music during their half time show. Themes from Halo, Legend of Zelda, Mortal Kombat and Super Mario Bros. are played while the band forms several symbols in the field such as a mushroom, a triforce and a halo symbol.

Not as cool as VGL, but still pretty neat for a marching band. Band Geeks Rule!

Faith Is Back!

Faith is back in the castle and has lots of cool stories from the Fan Expo in Toronto. Lots to dish about from hanging with Tommy Tallarico and Jack Wall from Video Games Live to meeting the lovely Miss Juliet Landau.

I’ll try to recall all the good stuff for ya till then, here’s a picture of Symbiote Spiderman to tide you over. Note the little alien in his pants trying to pop out. I never knew Spidey was so well hung.

Final Fantasy Movie Does Thriller

This explains why the movie sucked. The designers were too busy making stuff like this. I gotta say though, they do have some sweet moves. “It’s Thriller!”

Faith Heads to Fan Expo 2006

Yes, sweeties, Faith Naked is off September 1st to September 3rd to the annual Fan Expo in Toronto, Canada for a weekend of mingling with the geekiest of fanboys and girls at the best convention in Canada. Oh, I’m getting a happy on just thinking about it.

The Annual Fan Expo in Toronto is a huge convention featuring 5 conventions in all: Canadian National Comic Book Expo, SFX: Canadian National Science Fiction Expo, Rue Morgue Festival of Fear, CNAnime: Canadian National Anime Expo, and GX: Canadian National Gaming Expo. That’s right; all things geek in one huge weekend expo. This will be my fifth year going and I am stoked more than ever for this year.
