Tabula Rasa: gay clan, anyone?

Hey there,  I'm new to the forums here, but no stranger to the gaygamer site.  They actually posted about my selling my 360 for my wii a while back

I'm in the Tabula Rasa beta, and just thought I'd post something to test the interest people might have in forming a gay clan in Tabula Rasa.  The client is downloading now, and I'm sure there's only a test server available... but once there's a permanent home to start a clan, it would be cool to have a pool of folks interested in kicking off this new game with our own clan.

Hey Andy,

Am a reader of your blog as well as an occasional avid gamer.  Have played WoW and D&D OL, EQ etc.    Being an Air Traffic Controller, I have an odd schedule that has me work weekends and rotating shifts.

The problems I have had in the past with MMO's is that when grouping, it seems that there is always someone who has run the scenario before and simply wants to "RUN" through it again, to get XP and/or loot. Additionally, the wierd schedule keeps me from playing alot and usually wind up several levels behind others that I began with and played with often.

I don't know much about the Tabula Rasa game system or world, but I might look into it and consider playing.

Off topic:  Good luck with the move to Ottawa. Was up in Toronto last week visiting the husband and we took a side trip to Ottawa. It was balls-withering hot.

I got into beta recently as well, didn't have the chance to try it yet, but I'll probably will this weekend. Problem is, I live in Europe, and I think NC keeps separated regions for servers. I won't be able to play with you on beta I guess, but if the game is good enough, I'll try to get it on digital download from their US Store, as I did for City of Heroes and Auto Assault. Not sure if that can be done anymore, but it's worth the try, most of my gaming friends play on US servers when it comes to MMOs.

Well, we're actually back to playing WoW again. But if nobody is in this clan anymore, there is surely someone out there!

I got a dealo that lets me play free for the rest of this month, so I'm giving Tabula Rasa a whirl. So far I really like it. This is probably the best scifi MMOG I've ever played. I've been looking for a GLBT friendly clan with no luck so far. There doesnt' seem to be a huge community. However, since I'm not sure I'm goign to continue to play after the month is up (got WAR coming out), I don't feel a pressing need to join one. I'm on Casseopia though.
