<summary> The folks over at Ludum Dare are having a contest. The theme is caverns. The fine folks at JayIsGames highlighted a particularly amazing entry named Beacon, by a user named ChevyRay. It&apos;s a small, free, downloadable platformer. You play a small man who has fallen into a cave, with no light to guide him out. As he hears the creatures of darkness close in for the kill, a strange orb of light appears, and begins to guide him through the blackness. The gameplay is exquisitely paced, wonderful at evoking emotion, and has an ending worth waiting for. I highly recommend you play this great little game.
